About Natick SEPAC
The Natick Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) serves as a parent resource and a conduit between parents and the administration. It provides a forum for parents to meet each other and with school department staff to discuss special education concerns, strategies and programs. Monthly meetings are held at the Town Hall, 3rd Floor, 13 E. Central St., Natick. All parents and any persons with an interest in special education are welcome.
30 October - 7:00-9:00: Basic Rights, FCSN. This workshop provides families with an introduction to their rights and responsibilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Massachusetts Special Education Law and No Child Left Behind (NCLB). It is designed to help parents learn how to be effective partners with the school, to decide the child’s eligibility for special education, to plan, make decisions and to monitor the educational progress of their child.
Our SEPAC Library
Many Special Education Books and Materials are available at the Morse Institute Library. The Help Center has now been broken up and filed in the regular stacks, though some is still grouped together in the front corner of the Children's section. Look in the catalog under Special Education or by particular special need.
We bring our own library of books to each SEPAC meeting. If you would like to check out a book, just come and sign it out.
